We started the home buying process with Donna six years ago with a really limited budget and no idea of what we were looking for. Donna knew we were out of our league, but she was patient with us. When we loved a house we knew we’d have to put a lower offer on, she could ask agents about the likelihood of those offers. We ended up moving out of state and not buying a house six years ago, but when we decided to move back, Donna was one of the first people we told. She kept our secret as she showed us (and toured on her own) a bunch of houses in a tight market, while we watched via video in North Carolina. We bought our current home without seeing it in person, because we 100% trusted Donna’s opinion of the house, the street, the neighborhood, etc. It would have likely been much easier for Donna if we had bought the other house we were under negations on (negations that had been a lot of work). But she never for a second made is feel like we were anything but family as she dropped that and got us the house we wanted. We love our house. We’re not moving anytime soon, but if we were, Donna would be our first call for buying and selling. She’s part of our family and we can’t recommend her enough.

2021 brought many changes and challenges to our family, but I have to say you were a bright spot in the middle of all that! "My husband and I wanted a second home in Downtown Detroit. We loved to go to games, events, museums, festivals, etc on the weekends but dreaded the 1 hour drive back to our home in Brighton.
We contacted Donna and she spent hours upon hours with us looking for the right place. My wife and I recently relocated back to the United States after living for 12 years in Europe. In the search for our new home in the States, we visited several areas of the country. We would always contact a realtor to show us the local community we were interested in, as we felt a realtor would know the area and could answer our many questions. Just a note to let you know we think of you often. Dennis and I were sitting on our front porch the other evening just looking around our neighborhood and were thinking how lucky we are to be here. We can never thank you enough for steering us to the Grosse Pointes. Our neighbors are so friendly and nice and Jack has so many kids to play with now. We can't wait for the lazy days of summer for Jack to be able to just get up, play all day in the neighborhood and Mom won't be having a fit about where he is or who he is playing with. Lemonade stands are very popular on this street on any given hot, sunny day. If you drive through the neighborhood you might be able to get a free drink as you pass by. After vacation we still want to take you out for dinner as we promised you for the sale of our old house and the purchase of our new home.

She assisted us in looking for a new home for five years! Never did she display annoyance or displeasure with us when we couldn’t find what we really wanted in a home. When we told her we were interested in looking at other areas which she typically didn’t service, she referred us to another agent who was more knowledgeable of the area.
She is a delight to work and always listens to the customer. She is professional and ethical and offers her business advice when appropriate. She considers us as people and not just potential commission dollars We have recommended her to others in the past and will do the same in the future.
We worked with other real estate agents, in the past, and never made recommendations to other people we knew.
We can’t say enough positive things about Donna Stoner. We believe her practices should be the mold or “boiler plate” in developing new and upcoming real estate agents.
